A few nights ago, I was going through some pictures I had stored on my computer and saw this one that was taken a few months ago. I just had to share with everyone because I think Braylen looks so sweet.

It is amazing how much “stuff” you find in your home when you decide to move. We have decided to put our home on the market next week, we signed all the papers Sunday the date for the listing to begin is 04-05-06. Nick tells us that homes in our area are selling in about 55 days, we will test the theory. Back to the packing, We now have about 40 boxes packed in the basement and the house does look a lot less cluttered. When I pack this is the pattern, fill one or two boxes and fill one trash can, the trash men no longer like to come to our house. They tell us that they will start to dig the basement in 1-2 weeks, the story from the construction foreman is 5 months from the dig to move in, another theory to be tested. We are in the process of selecting all the stuff for the house siding color, shingle color, gutter color, trim color ceremaic tile color for each bathroom, foyer tile color, firepace tile color, counter top color for the kitchen…………………………. You get the picture. There are moments when I think you dumb ass why are you doing this to yourself. Time to go before I get caried away if I hven’t yet.
Will keep you all posted and post some photos of our dirt when I get a chance to figure that process out.

Ever wonder if you really did call 911 and hung up if they’d call back?????
Well, Mrs Fab found out the answer to this question last week all thanks to Braylen.
They in fact do call back, and then ask a ton of questions (as if they don’t believe what you are telling them). What more of answer to they need then “my 2 year old grandson must have called you”. Once they grilled Grandma and then heard Braylen in the background, I think they realized it was nothing more then a curious toddler. At least we now know that Centerline Fire and Police have a quick response time
What’s amazing about the fact Braylen called 911 is that it was not a programmed button on the phone. He actually dialed the number sequence all on his own.
Grandma can give you the details, but needless to say, when Braylen heads into the bedroom and a phone is found in his hand, Grandma will now check the number before hanging up

*** 7 Weeks and counting ***
Jodi and I have only 7 weeks of school left this semester. Once completed Jodi and I will have our asscoiate degrees. It has been a very very long road to this point but one worth taking. I will be transferring over to Rochester College to complete my bach. degree in the fall. Jodi is going to take a few more classes at Macomb then join me at Rochester. Hopefully this degree will go much faster then the first one.
*** Basement Project ***
A few months ago I started buying 2 x 4’s to finish the basement. Well last week I started putting up the studs and have about 12 in place. This project will most likely quite some time to finish due to budget and Braylen. Budget of course is easy to understand, but as for Braylen, well lets just say he LOVES to go down stairs. So I can only work down there when Braylen is out of the house with Jodi. But I sure once we are done with school and the weather breaks that I will be able to get down there and move along a little faster.
*** Greenside Sod ***
Is offically going to be around for another year of business. Jodi and I filed our taxes and didn’t take to bad of a hit having to claim the buisness. So this summer once again I along with my crew will be out working hard laying sod. Last year we succesfully did 8 jobs, with a target of 10 jobs this year.
*** The dogs ***
Jodi noticed a lump on Fudge’s neck a few weeks ago and took her in for her second treatment this past Saturday. Well Jodi wanted them to look at her neck and make sure that the cancer wasn’t spreading before going on with more treatment. The doctor said that the lump is most likely just a product of her adding 10 POUNDS due to the steriods. They did draw more blood however to rule out other cancer and if all goes well she will be getting treatment number 2 this weekend.
As for Murray he has been sick the past week and had an accident in the house on Wed. At first I thought it might have been Fudge because she was acting guilty on Wed morning. However upon examing the mess I was able to find Braylen’s Tuesday dinner leftovers in there which point directly to Murray. But other then that both dogs seem to be doing ok.
*** Estoy aprendiendo español (I am learning Spanish)***
As Braylen continues to be Dora’s biggest fan, I have started to pick up the spanish words that go along with the show. Along with that I have an employee who is from Puerto Rico. So I have decided to try my best to pick up a second language. I feel I have a great oppurtunity with Wilson (my employee) to help teach me spanish and have the chance to use it daily. I practice with him daily along with listening to some CD’s. Once I’m done with this semester at school, I’m going to increase my time learning and see what happens. My long term goal is 1. learn another language myself, and 2. teach it to Braylen as he gets older. So if any of you who speak Spanish (Lisa) by all means please try some on me and I’ll do my best to reply. Gracias.

As most of you know Braylen loves nothing more then cars and trucks. Well a few weeks ago I was cleaning up some stuff in the basement and came across a couple of die cast NASCAR race cars. So of course I gave them to Braylen and was telling him that they are race cars. Just a few weeks ago NASCAR racing started up again and I thought Braylen might enjoy watching some. Well once the race comes on Braylen stands in front of the TV and watches intently saying car, car, car……
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been continuing to show him racing on TV so much that he now walks up to the TV and starts saying cars, cars, cars, which I respond to saying Race Cars??? As soon as I say that he gets all excited and starts jumping up and down. He is now even trying to say race cars but sounds more like key cars (of course mom and dad know what he is trying to say.)
So Braylen now has two favorite channels on Tv Noggin and Speed Vision.
