911 anyone?

Ever wonder if you really did call 911 and hung up if they’d call back?????
Well, Mrs Fab found out the answer to this question last week all thanks to Braylen.
They in fact do call back, and then ask a ton of questions (as if they don’t believe what you are telling them). What more of answer to they need then “my 2 year old grandson must have called you”. Once they grilled Grandma and then heard Braylen in the background, I think they realized it was nothing more then a curious toddler. At least we now know that Centerline Fire and Police have a quick response time
What’s amazing about the fact Braylen called 911 is that it was not a programmed button on the phone. He actually dialed the number sequence all on his own.
Grandma can give you the details, but needless to say, when Braylen heads into the bedroom and a phone is found in his hand, Grandma will now check the number before hanging up

What an experience that was!! It all started when I went to answer the phone. It was a courtesy call from St. John Macomb Hospital checking on my mother. While I was speaking to the caller, Braylen ran down the hall to the bedroom. He likes to get up on our bed with Abby, Jenn’s dog. I finished the call and started down the hall after him, but as I got to the doorway, he picked up the bedside phone and started hitting buttons. I took the phone, saw numbers and hit the “off” button. I didn’t noticed what numbers he hit, but there were several. Well, apperantly the first three numbers he hit were 9-1-1, because as soon as I hit “off” the phone rang and the caller ID showed “POLICE FIRE AMB”. The caller said she had just received a 911 hangup from our number. I explained that my grandson picked up the phone and starting hitting numbers and I apologized. She asked if anyone else was in the house besides Braylen and myself. I guess she was checking if possibly someone was in another part of the house and in need of help. Just then Braylen came running back into the bedroom babbling away at the top of his lungs!! I thanked her for checking and apologized again!! At least I know they respond promptly!!!
