Aside from joking, it is a hard decision and there is alot of pro’s and cons. Years ago, we would have gone in a heartbeat, but Braylen changes the whole ball game. The fact of the matter is that Michigan’s economy is not as stable as it used to be, so we have to be open to the idea of leaving the state to further our careers.

I will miss Michigan, our family and friends tremendously, but the upside to that is that there would be no reason we could never come back. I am hoping that we go down there, I become a stay at home mom, and Brian gains more experience that he can use to bring us back up to Michigan.

This is all just thoughts at this point. Brian still has to wait for the posting to happen, interview and then be offered a job. The reason for it being a big deal is that the “big boss” contacted us first (1 day after the person was let go). This usually means that you have the job, but not always. So, It’s no gaurentee.

So, right now it’s a waiting game. It is nerve racking to leave a comfort zone, but in the end, what matters is that we have the support of all that love and care about us to help us through the decision we make.
