Well I took an oppurtunity to talk with my direct boss about the opening down in Norcross (which is where he spent a few years working for our company) and he seemed pretty upbeat about me possibly going down there. He told me that if they were to call him and ask about me that he would have nothing but positive things to say and would tell them that he would be sad to see me leave.
As of this morning around 11:00 am I offically sent in my resume and documention to take the next step. Hopefully something will be arranged in the next week or so in regards to going down there to interview for the job.

John had told us about this seat they saw and were going to buy for Milla but she started sitting on her own very shortly after they seen it. So anyways we went and bought it for Jordan and it works really well she looks like such a big girl i will try posting pics when i get home. It is a seat made of a rubbery foam and it teaches them to sit up! So thanks John.

I received this via email and those it was appropriate to post on this site:
F A M I L Y
I ran into a stranger as he passed by, “Oh excuse me please” was my reply.
He said, “Please excuse me too; I wasn’t watching for you.”
We were very polite, this stranger and I. We went on our way and we said goodbye.
But at home a different story is told, How we treat our loved ones, young and old.
Later that day, cooking the evening meal, My son stood beside me very still.
When I turned, I nearly knocked him down. “Move out of the way,” I said with a frown.
He walked away, his little heart broken. I didn’t realize how harshly I’d spoken.
While I lay awake in bed, God’s still small voice came to me and said, “While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you use, but the family you love, you seem to abuse.
Go and look on the kitchen floor, You’ll find some flowers there by the door. Those are the flowers he brought for you. He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.
He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise, you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes.”
By this time, I felt very small, And now my tears began to fall. I quietly went and knelt by his bed; “Wake up, little one, wake up,” I said.
“Are these the flowers you picked for me?” He smiled, “I found ‘em, out by the tree. I picked ‘em because they’re pretty like you. I knew you’d like ‘em, especially the blue.”
I said, “Son, I’m very sorry for the way I acted today; I shouldn’t have yelled at you that way.”
He said, “Oh, Mom, that’s okay. I love you anyway.”
I said, “Son, I love you too, and I do like the flowers, especially the blue.”
FAMILY
Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than into our own family, an unwise investment indeed, don’t you think?
So what is behind the story?
Do you know what the word FAMILY means?
FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU

Ok, my one boss’ b-day is coming up next week… she is turing 40 and is a big wine fan. Now I don’t know too much about wine so I am hoping that those of you that know more can maybe point me in the direction of some nice wines (just not too expensive). I would like to get a bottle or two. Thanks in advance for any help.

Well on Saturday Greenside Sod installed it’s first lawn of the year. It was a tear out and replacement of one of my co-workers Grandfathers house. It took us just under 4 hours to complete. However the one area that I just didn’t real factor for was dumping the old lawn. I planned for the cost to dump and the trailer but never took into account the time to actually dump it. So needless to say I spent about an hour at the landfill shoveling a full 5×9 trailer full of old grass and dirt. But in the end it wasn’t to bad and didn’t go off with any other problems.
In the mean time Jodi last week stopped at the house and picked up some flyers because Braylen was sleeping in the car. She was able to drop a handful of flyers off in a new sub next to ours. Well the next day I got a call for a quote and on Saturday afternoon the homeowner called back and booked a job. So our second job is on the books and we are just waiting for him to get final grading from his builder which will make prep time a breeze.
I want to give a special thank you for my parents for stopping by and dropping off a pizza. The job I did was right across van dyke (what a small world).
