Dunhill Fab Family Update
Well on Sunday evening we finally said our good-byes to our dog Murray. It was a very sad experience and our family is hurting (including Fudge). We treated Murray to a final meal consisting of McDonalds Fries and chicken nuggets and just to put a little bit of icing on the cake, we found Murray on the kitchen table walking around 10 minutes before leaving for the vet. He will be missed but I know in my heart that he is in a better place and he can be happy as happy can be in get in all of the trouble that his little heart desires.
As for the rest of our family I knocked out job number 3 this weekend and took on number 4. I installed a french drain at our co-workers house that lives in our sub-division. In doing so I talked with an elder neighbor who has landscaping that has been taken over by weeds and grass. So on Sunday I took care of one area and told him I would come back and work on the rest of what he needs done. This job should last a few days if not a couple of weeks due to all of the work that needs to get done. But the nice thing is that we pass his house daily and he is right on a main corner so getting his house together will help all of us on the street.
Jodi spent most of the past weekend working on our own landscaping in the front yard. She did a wonderful job and our front yard looks fantastic. Great job BABY.
I had a phone interview on Wed. for the Georgia job which went very well and I’m just waiting to hear from them this week which hopefully will lead to going down there either late this week or possibly next week.
Braylen continues to be adding words to his vocabulary which we can’t keep up with. Jodi has been working on counting with him and working on his colors. He of course is starting to repeat everything that we say and repeated his first swear word with Jodi this weekend. Jodi can fill in those details for you. Braylen is also starting to show signs of wanting to play with other kids as we witnessed on Thursday at my parents house. My mom let a couple of the kids in the neighborhood come over and Braylen just ran and ran with the kids.
One of Braylen’s cute moments this weekend was on Saturday morning Jodi and I were sitting in the living room talking about how Braylen was calling for Momma in the morning when he wanted to get up, and he climbed into Jodi’s lap and made this very cute face got nose to nose with her and in a deeper voice said MOMMA.
