It’s always so hard to lose a pet. We lost Nicky suddenly. One evening we noticed he was having problems, and by the next evening he died on his own at the veterinary hospital. Cookie was in such bad shape we decided it was time to stop her suffering, but it was hard waiting all week to take her in on Saturday morning.
JoJo was such a sweetie! We will all miss her very much.

I really loved Jo boo boos..which later became Fat Joe and Britany Spears… :)………I just hope that Jo Jo isn’t giving Murray to hard of a time up there, maybe they have become good buddies.

What’s scary is that Braylen mentioned JoJo’s name randomly on Sunday, twice. I just thought nothing of it as I had not even mentioned her name, so I didn’t know why all of a sudden he said it. Then this morning he said Murray, twice. I am wondering if Braylen can see them…… When Murray, or Murney as he says, passed, he would periodically mention his name. I kept saying that Murray was hanging around and Braylen was seeing him. And then this weekend, he said JoJo’s name and then Murray’s today. Wonder if he’s seeing JoJo, but getting JoJo confuse with Murray. Maybe neither of them have seen the light.
If anyone watches Ghostwhisperer (Friday nights), then you would kinda know what I am talking about.
Regardless, both pups are missed and we are all so very lucky to have shared our lives with them and we will all meet up with them again someday.

The hardest part for me was that I left to go to Chicago friday afternoon and Jo’s got really bad that night. Since she got sick so fast I had no chance to say goodbye to her in person. She was a great dog, very loving and always there when you needed a warm body to sit next to. I will miss her very much, she was with me for almost exactaly 10 years. I adopted her from a friend when she was about three. I will miss how her whole body would shake when she wagged her tail when I got home. How she always would bury herself under any blanket she came in contact with. I will miss the times she would get excited and play with a toy which if you knew Jo she never really got into toys. I will even miss how stuborn she could be and that bad beagle breath she alway had. I really loved my Fat Dog and will miss her. To Jo Jo, I am sorry I could not be with you when you needed me most and I promise to never forget my
Fat Dog.

That is very sweet Todd and JoJo knows, and knew how deeply you loved her. You gave her the best 10 years of her life and you and Angie did not let her suffer, which ultimatly is one of the most important parts of owning and loving a pet. She had a quality life and a great one at that.
We all know how hard it is to loss a pet, ecspecially when it happens so sudden. I never got to say goodbye to my cat, but overtime, I forgave myself that. The most reassuring thing is that heaven awaits us, and our pets will be standing there waiting for us when we get there.
You will never forget her, but your heart will heal as time passes.
