For anyone wondering about plans for Braylen’s birthday…..
Orginally, I was going to have his party on his actual birthday (june 30th), however, because airfare was cheaper for a different time for Brian to be home for his party, I am now going to have his birthday the weekend of July 7th. I am not sure if it will be the 7th or the 8th as Brian and I have to talk more about it.

Over the last few months I have noticed that no one is posting birthdays, anniversaries, or any other special events coming up in the Fab Family. I know that not everyone in the family checks this site on a regular basis, but for those that do, including myself, I would like to see an updated list of events. S-o-o-o, being the organizer that I am, I am appointing myself, “special event posting person”. I’m pretty sure I have a complete list of birthdays and anniversaries, and will attempt to add any other upcoming dates of interest. However, if you have an event to add, PLEASE, go ahead and post the info yourself.

Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and all there friends that is. We were gone for 11 days we flew into Orlando airport and stayed in a condo in Daytona Beach it was great we were on the 8th floor so our view was awesome. We went with my my mom and dad. The weather was awesome it was a little gray the first day cause of the tropical storm was in the area and I think it also had something to do with the wildfires in the area when the opened the doors of our plane we could smell it.
Day 1
We got to the condo settled in and went looking for a grocery store. Got back and had some dinner then went and checked out the hot tub. Then we decided to call it an early night because it was along day and we had another 1 planed for the next day.
Day 2
We knew before we left we were going to go to Disney 1 day Mom Fab found some old tickets they had from when they went to Disney back in 1996 or 1997 so we deiced that since J wasn’t crabby we would go on this day we got to the ticket agent to check the time left on and she told me there was 2 days left on each that was a nice surprise. So we went into Magic Kingdom it was too crowded the first thing we did was bought J an autograph book. Then we got some autographs and rode some rides J loved them especially the Magic carpet ride and the Dumbo ride. We had dinner at 1 of the restaurants where you eat with the chacters. So after more rides and autographs we watched the parade and head back to the boat trying to beat the traffic we got to see the fireworks from the boat which was nice. Need less to say we all got home and slept good. Thanks again for the tickets.
Day 3
Well this is the day my Brother Jerry and his wife Bethany Flew down and stayed with us too. They got to the condo around 12 I would say we spent most of the day down at the pool and beach then we all got ready and went out to dinner. We went to a place called
Cruisin’ Cafe Bar & Grill. Here is a short description of the place a race car cafe like no other packed with the history of auto racing. Enjoy the thrill of dining in a genuine stock car. Our deco includes an amazing amount of photos, automobile panels and memorabilia. DJ and Karaoke nightly! Watch racing on our many TV’s. We ate in the Jeff Gordon Car. The food was pretty good and not badly priced. After a certain time they turn it into a bar. So after dinner Todd went to walk to the truck to get the stroller because we decided to walk down the pier so when he got back we all learned of the fact that our truck had been towed. We weren’t aware that we had parked in a tow away zone. So Todd and Jerry went to go get the truck and my mom, dad, Bethany, and I all took J for a walk to the Pier and we found a little arcade and outside seating. So I took J into to play a little which by the way she loves skeeball. Then we sat outside and waited for them to get back. Well they got back and Todd and I took J back to the condo and they went out. We got back and went to bed shortly after.
Day 4
Prior to getting to Florida I was able to get into to contact with 1 of Todd’s old friend that he hadn’t seen in about 5 or 6 years(thanks to Jodi) he name is Terry.
Well he and his girlfriend Jennifer cam down to meet up with us. So they came down we spent a while at the beach then when the tide came up we moved the party up to the pool. Hung out there for a while and my mom made dinner for all of us we ate dinner then decided that we would leave J with my mom and dad and we would go out that night. Our goal was to find a dart board. So Todd, Terry, Jennifer and I all got into the car “found a public parking lot” and headed to the first bar it was called the Mai Tai Bar we had a table on there patio overlooking the ocean. No dart board so we had 1 drink and headed to the next 1 RJ Gators and sat at the bar ordered and appetizer and then to Todd surprise the had Yuengling on tap so we had a drink or 2 there while there my brother and Bethany met up with us. Still on a mission to find a dart board we went on the suggestion of 1 of the previous bar we went to a place called Froggys salon (holy biker bar) needless to say we walked in and out. Then we walked down the street to a place called Dirty Harrys at last we found our dart board. This place was pretty good it wasn’t too crowded and the drinks were reasonable it was really open. So we played 4 games as partners Terry and Jennifer won 2 we won 2 and Jerry and Beth lost sorry guys. Well then we decided we were ready to dance so we went back to Cruisin’ Cafe Bar & Grill. We were there till close. Then we went searching for a Denny but didn’t find 1 so we went back to the condo and went to bed. It was a lot of fun and really nice meeting Terry and Jennifer.
Day 5
Mothers Day well it started out kinda slow we had 1 more person join our group that would be Dick a friend of the family my mom and dad left to get him then when they got back we bbq lunch and hung out for a while at the pool. Later on after a while we went to a china buffet for dinner it was very good. Jerry and Bethany had a flight out at 8 am the next morning so they called it a early night and Todd took j back to the condo with them so my mom, dad, dick and I headed to the eagles club out there we got in there and they wernt very friendly so we stayed for 1 beer then headed back to the condo. We got back and 4 of us played a little euchre then called it a night.
Day 6
I woke up at 5 am when Jerry and Beth were getting ready to go I talked to them for a while till they left then I went back to sleep well we got up a around 8 or so my mom, dad and Dick were all getting ready to go they were leaving to head out on there cruise. It was really nice having everyone there cause there was a lot of freedom in taking care of J but I was kinda happy to see them go it was nice having the whole condo to ourselves. So we hung out at the beach and pool again for the day.
Day 7
Disney again this time we started out at MGM Studios walked around a little and then we found what we went there for Jojo and Goliath from Jojo circus 1 of J favorite Disney show. Prior to the other park she was a little weary of the chacters she ran right up to Jojo. Then was her FAVORITE Mickey she loved it so much she was dancing and hugging him. She even tried to cool him off by pulling off his head. That could have been bad. Then we decided to head to another park that would be more interesting for her so we headed to Animal Kingdom well we got there between 3:30 – 4:00 so we went on the Safari and went on the train and went to petting zoo. She seemed to like it a lot. That parked closed at 6 so we headed back to MGM. Got there and J was a little tired so we didn’t stay to long. Got back and relaxed the rest of the day.
Day 8
We decided it was a good day to stay close to the home base figuring she would be tried and crabby from such a long day before. It was a good thing we did she wasn’t to crabby but she was tired.
Day 9
We hung out at the pool and beach again for this day then we went to a place called Cici’s Pizza for dinner it’s a buffet all you can eat for 5 bucks and the food was good they had at least 6 different pizza pasta salad breadsticks and some desserts. The nice part was you could actually order pizza anyway you want I ordered a taco pizza it was good a couple of the signature pizzas they had were buffalo chicken which was to spicy for me and pizza with mac and cheese on it I wasn’t that adventurous. They have 1 here in Michigan on Hall Rd we will be going again.
Day 10
This day we went to the Daytona USA race track it was neat we went on a tour where they talk you on a tram down on the track and on pit road they had thing where you could ride in or drive the cars them self but it was very expensive but you can still watch other people do it. It was cool watching the cars go at 160 MPH from pit road. Then we went in the other part where they have an IMAX movie and a bunch of the actual race cars there is also a simulator ride and a ride where you get in the car and race other cars. There was everything you ever wanted to no about Nascar history. It was just really neat. Then we went to the flea market. We finally got to try Sonics the fast food place I liked it Todd didn’t care to much for it. Then we headed back to the condo to pack up.
Day 11
We left the condo and headed to Orlando where we were staying that night to be closer to the airport. We got to our hotel and we took J for a walk then we got back and my mom, dad and Dick met us there cause they were staying there to. So we decided to get a lite lunch cause we decided to do a dinner theater for dinner that night so we got Wendys and got back ate lunch at the pool J decided that no matter what she was going in the pool clothes and all she was playing on the stairs in the pool then after that Todd and J took and nap my mom dad Dick and I headed to another eagles club the people here were very nice. We weren’t there for a long cause we had to get back to go to dinner. The place was called Capone’s (al) the food was really good we thought it was going to be like a gangster shoot out type thing but it was a comedy which I was very happy about. It was set in the 1930’s in Chicago most of the dinner shows were like 50 – 60 bucks we had a coupon for half off at this 1 so it was like 23.00 a person which wasn’t bad. After that was over we headed back to the hotel cause we were leaving that next day.
Day 12
We got up early went to breakfast at Ponderosa it was not that good, Then we headed to the airport I planned on giving J some benadryl so that she would sleep the way home. I gave it to her about 30 minutes before take off and it didn’t work she was awake the whole way home.
So the flight wasn’t bad J decided that all the animals and every other bird was a duck I think she said duck 1000 times. It was a great vacation. I will be emailing pictures in the near future to anyone that wants them but just send me you email my email address is aya_33_00@yahoo.com
We even got great news today besides the fact that it is Todd’s birthday we found that we are going to be a having a second child. The baby is due to come on Jan. 25th another Jan baby.

As I think most of you are aware, I’m heading to Myrtle Beach next week on Wed. to take part in a company / vendor golf trip. This group of people have been going over the past 9 years. Our main supplier Rockwell Automation will have about 12 people there and the other 12 will be Mac & Mac people. I was asked by my Big Boss a few months ago which I was very shocked. This will be a good oppurtunity for me to meet some higher up people and rub elbows with a group that I typically don’t get access to. The other good thing is when your outside of work you seem to learn more and find out more then when your actually there. So hopefully that will remain true next week.
We are going to be playing golf on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Here are a few pictures for the golf courses that we are going to be playing. Each day will equal a new course.
I have been doing a fair share of practicing for this trip with going golfing and to the ranges. I just want to make sure that I play to my normal level of about a 32 handicap and not to make a fool of myself. I played last Sunday at a very nice course just south of Atlanta (Thats right I finally traveled past the airport) and shot my normal 104. But with that said this course was very challenging and I missed some very easy putts. So for me to shot a 104 on this type of course is a good sign.

I just wanted to thank my brother Todd for answering my call for help this past Sunday. When Jodi left to come down to Georgia she had set up an open house for the the weekend when she would be back. Well when she left the grass was still not really even green. But when she did make her way back home she was surprised to see the grass and dandelions had taken off. She didn’t know what to do and we didn’t seem to have any options.
So I thought I would give Todd a call to see if he was around. Todd without hesitation jump into his car and headed over to cut the grass and get us out of a big jam. Thanks a lot Todd your were a life saver.
Also I wanted to thank Aunt Angie for taking Braylen to the zoo on Monday. Braylen always has a hard time getting back into the swing of things when he comes back from Georgia. A trip to the zoo seemed to do him very good. When I talked to Braylen yesterday he sounded like he had a really good time. Hopefully he wasn’t to much of a handful for you. I give you a lot of credit for taking him and Jordan together by yourself to such a big place like the zoo.
