INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION AND SPACE SHUTTLE SIGHTING

June 20th, 2007 at 10:43am Regina

Did anyone see the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle in the sky last night?  Well, we did!!  Jenn, Rich and I went out to watch for them last night a little after 10 o’clock.  First we spotted a bright light in the northwestern sky, but it was only one light and must have been a planet.  We heard that the Space Station and Shuttle would be seen one right after the other.  Well, we watch for a few minutes, then all of a sudden we could see them coming right out of the northwest, one after the other, moving at a pretty good pace, running on an angle right over our house in a southeast direction!!  It was truly awesome!!  We watched until they were no longer visible.  However, we can see them again tonight!!  I believe the time is a little later, closer to 11 o’clock and about 30 degrees closer to the horizon.
